When there are too many events on one day, the macOS calendar does not show all events. I know that resizing the window helps but the problem is still the same for more daily events. …

How can the macOS calendar show (1 more...) daily events in the month view?
The best way I found is to double click "2 more..." or the date number (green rectangles in the picture below). This directly opens the day view of this particular day.
