Worked right away, as-is in 12.5 MacOS Monterey. This is the best answer I can never find whenever I get a new mac and decide to run it fresh/clean rather than backed-restored. Glad I came across it again!
This was stupidly simple and worked for me too in MacOS Monterey. Bug was driving me nuts! Crazy. I'm sure a reboot would have worked too, but now I can delay the inevitable, haha. Thanks!
AdBlock by FutureMind only seems to provide the base URLs, not the full URLs, so Charles seems the better option here. There are probably other options not listed, but I don't know of any.
This proved helpful for me stopping the Yosemite installer on boot, after I successfully attempted to install Yosemite from a non-Yosemite disk to a new disk, after which it tried to also install Yosemite onto the old disk. What a feisty bugger. Thanks a ton!
