Your solution also works on a 2012 MacBook Pro. I only had to modify the call to the 'dump' routing to search for "Internal Keyboard". For some reason, I needed to execute the program a couple of times for it to take due to some intermittent bug, but I now have a functioning keyboard, and can use emacs once again.

This didn't work for me. My document left margin is set to 0, but is stuck about an inch over.
