@vykor I'm looking for the X-Spam-Score header. Yes, I know that all headers are not always present but I know there are times where many more headers are present that are not showing up. I can find the mail message via the Subject line because that's part of my debug and then display the raw message. Its weird, I realize. Especially since sometimes it can find all the headers and sometimes it finds only a small subset.
On 10.14.6, I had a situation where the Sharing -> Computer Name was set the way I wanted it yet hostname returned "MacBook-Pro". I even changed it and still had the problem. I've never seen this issue before. The scutil commands worked for me. I'm wondering where / how you are suppose to do that via the GUI interface.
In the past two weeks, I have deleted and added my podcasts in various ways and there are always problems. I never tried "Reset Identifier" that is offered in iOS Settings => Podcasts. But, it never really worked. What I am using at this point is "Overcast". It has no MacOS application but I switched to it because it has more features in iOS and more "Shortcut" features as well. It seems very stable and solid if you want to give up the MacOS option -- which wasn't really working for me anyway.
I pretty much agree... I wish I could save, even if it is "by hand" the list of episodes per podcast that I've already watched. I know I've added the same podcast to the Mac and iPhone at different types. I think I want to just add and control things (in my case) via iTunes on the Mac and then "sync" and see how that looks on the iOS devices. It may take a few days to get my nerve up to do this :-)
@fsb my iPhone has that set. On the Mac, I see Preferences => Store => Sync Playback information across devices as well as Sync podcast subscriptions and settings which are both checked. Also on the Mac, per device has Podcasts and Sync Podcasts plus Automatically Include and I have all unplayed picked.
Part of this answer isn't correct but it did help me so I checked it. Here is my full saga: the particular piece that I wanted sync was Music and it was going to the old Mac. I did a "Ease All Content and Settings"... actually what I did was follow Apple's instructions on how to sell an old iPad. Then it still was not happy because I had no content so I enabled some content. The screen changed to the right screen but was dimmed. I did a reboot and now it works. It says "books, music, and podcasts" will be sync whereas before it just said books.
