Stack Exchange network consists of 183 Q&A communities including Stack Overflow, the largest, most trusted online community for developers to learn, share their knowledge, and build their careers.
But what users want is for a link to an image to open the image right there in the browser window or tab, and not download and save it or open it in Preview (it does of course download it to cache but that's not what I am referring to).
