How to show git files in Finder?
This may be too close to a duplicate for Git plug-in for Finder?, but I'm after a tool that will merely show me whether there is a repo in the current directory, and the state of the files within. … I don't want to view all invisible files
I want to continue using Finder (I like PathFinder, but not always)

Open Finder window from current Terminal location?
I've added a function to my ~/.bash_profile to handle revealing a file or directory:
# Reveal a file or directory in Finder
reveal() {
# grab the first arg or default to pwd
local basedir=${1:-${PWD … }}
if [[ -f "$basedir" ]]; then
# ..we passed a file, so use its containing directory
basedir=$(dirname "$basedir")
fi
# basedir is a directory in now, so open will activate Finder …
