I have several albums with photos taken on an iPhone, which I view and work with at https://www.icloud.com/photos/

  I can select individual pictures and create a share link, and I do this all the time.

But when I select an album, all the share links ghost out.

How can I get a link to a whole album, such that the email recipient of the link can see the album, and see new photos added to the album?

I could create a new album, but in iCloud photos at least, there is only one album type available:
