Accessing the secure gobal desktop from OS mac - getting erroe “Failed to install SGD client” when accessing the secure global desktop from OS X

I am having an issue since iI have upgraded to OS X Yosemite.

I used to previously remotely access my workswork's Windows system from my Mac (OS maverickX Mavericks). I had installed xquartzXQuartz and javaJava and was using firefoxFirefox as my browser.

Since iI upgraded to OS yosemiteX Yosemite with both JAVAJava and xquartzXQuartz installed iI can access the secure global desktop site and can also enter my log in details.

The screen then moves to "loading" and then freezes with a final message that states "Failed to install SGD client".

Any ideas as to what iI am doing wrong...never? Never got that message with OS X Mavericks.
