My first computer was an Apple //e; my first Mac was a Mac Plus. I've owned and used WinTel machines (haven't seen that terminology in at least a decade). Did a lot of programming at one time in FileMaker Pro.

Now I'm mostly a writer, occasionally a not-very-serious programmer. Currently using Pages and Scrivener a lot. Very impressed with the Hype app and with Jeffrey Zeldman's Designing With Web Standards.
