Senior System Programmer for Stanford University. One of the authors of SPIRES, a database management system, design in the early 1970s. I've been employed by Stanford University for over 40 years. I'm also a math puzzle person. My son, many years ago, asked me a simple question I've been unable to answer. That is my topic for this site. > In the game of Risk, what is the probability the Attacker with win BOTH battles in a 3-on-2 attack? I'm looking for the probability formula that yields that results.
