Tags in Finder allows the user to class files and folders with a little colored tag.

No colour dots to tag folders. Macbook Pro, OSX 10.10.3

Probably the color tags have been disabled previously or some non-color tags are enabled instead. Just open Finder -> Preferences -> Tags and enable all color tags and all non-color tags you need.

No script is needed to accomplish that. Simply use mdfind 'kMDItemUserTags=<tag>'to find all items with the tag <tag>. In your case that's mdfind 'kMDItemUserTags=Music'. If you want to restrict the …
