Shortcut MacOS to go to the beginning of a document
But Preview provides for this with the "home" and "end" keys (on an extended keyboard). … For Word, or other apps, you might try creating your own shortcuts: System Prefs > Keyboard > Shortcuts . . . App Shortcuts.
