I have a new MacBook with OS X Lion. To my great consternation, iSync isn't part of the package any more (I had a MacBook with 10.6 for a week but had to give it back due to a problem).
I don't have a Time Machine backup, so the only way for me to get iSync back was from some anonymous source on the Internet (which kinda reminded me of Windows... from which switched so I wouldn't have to do stuff like that any more. Anyway.) However, that stand-alone copy of iSync doesn't seem to play nice with the iSync plugin that I had purchased for my mobile phone. It seems like for that plugin to work, I need a fully installed iSync.
Is there any way to do a proper install of iSync on OS X Lion? I realize iSync is being phased out because of some deprecated frameworks, but it really is the only way for me to synchronize my mobile phone, and not being able to do that would be a big loss.
