When I look at my Apple SSD TS256C (Toshiba) in the System Profiler on my MacBook Pro (Late 2011), I see:
Link Speed: 6 Gigabit
Negotiated Link Speed: 3 Gigabit
Why is that? Does that mean that the full 6 Gbit/s of SATA III aren't being utilized?
Strange coming from an OEM drive...
For my SuperDrive it's even lower:
Link Speed: 6 Gigabit
Negotiated Link Speed: 1.5 Gigabit
