[1]: https://i.sstatic.net/pzniDtJf.png Just updated from Monterey to Sonoma 14.5(23F79) and the Apple ID section is no longer visible in System Settings. It should be immediately above the "Wi-Fi" section Even if I search for "Apple ID" it still does not appear (Picture below)

I doubt a command line tool will help here, let’s focus on fixing your settings app so it works. Who knows what else is out of place.

For Apple ID in macOS, use the settings app, you want to search for iCloud and it should be at the top of the left side pane.

To change these settings, choose Apple menu > System Settings, click [your name] at the top of the sidebar, then click iCloud.

If you don’t see it, restart the Mac and check.

If it’s still not there, start a second time in safe mode:

Last resort, you will want to make a backup and then check the OS is good by making a new user account on the Mac to test if the problem is the OS or your existing user.
