  • Have you downloaded the app via the App Store or via Safari ("Add shortcut to Home Screen")?

  • @Thinkr via App Store with my AppleID

  • Ok, then it's probably a bug. It is normal not to be able to delete apps that are shortcuts from Safari but not the ones from App Store.

It's quite tricky to do but here it is:

  1. Open Settings app
  2. Click on "Screen Time"
  3. Click on "Content & Privacy Restrictions"
  4. Click on "iTunes & App Store Purchases"
  5. Click on "Deleting Apps"
  6. Click on "Allow"

This is likely to solve your problem, the default behavior of this section of Screen Time is quite annoying but once you found it, it should work.
