I am making an account for my mother on an app using her email with my device. Does it show on the app the IP address from which I made the account? Will the account still be linked to my IP address but while using her own separate unrelated personal email to sign into the account?

Welcome to Ask Different. Generally speaking, while your IP address will most probably be stored as the address that initiated the sign-up on the app's servers, the account won't be linked to it, but to your mother's email address. I don't think you should be concerned about it, but if you are, configure private Wi-Fi addresses on your iPhone (see support.apple.com/HT211227) and connect to a public Wi-Fi network when creating the account, that makes it difficult to trace back the IP address to you.– jaumeDec 10, 2022 at 11:39
