I use my Sony wh-1000xm5 headphones with my M1 MBP without any issues at 44.1khz throughout the day. But I have a software synth (Arturia Analog Lab V) that only supports CoreAudio for output... and when I select my headphones as the device via CoreAudio, the only supported sample rate is 16khz.
The only way to get 44.1khz playback is to connect a 3.5mm cable from my laptop to the headphones. Not the end of the world, obviously, but I'd prefer to use Bluetooth!
Is there any workaround available to use a higher sample rate?
