A few days ago I accidentally clicked an ad in Safari on my iPhone (iOS 15.4.1) which sent the browser through a long chain of redirects, and then the device rebooted.
I've heard in the past about malicious webpages that could cause a device to do this, but this problem was apparently patched.
My Battery Health still lists "Peak Performance Capability", and so it doesn't appear to be a result of performance degradation.
I'm wondering what other reasons may have caused this to happen, and if I should have any security concerns?
Unfortunately I'm unable to remember which site/ad caused this to happen.
Any help would be much appreciated.
