I'm using an iPad to extend the desktop on a Macbook Pro.
Suppose I disconnect the iPad (either by asking nicely or because it the connection gets dropped).
When reconnecting the iPad, Terminal windows get automatically resized horizontally, they seem to lose about 2 columns every time, i.e. 80x24 becomes 78x24. If I were to repeat this, they'll keep decreasing: 76x24, 74x24, ...
Strangely enough, when re-enabling the sidebar (which is a waste of screen real estate, IMO) the Terminal windows returns to 80x24.
Anyone know how to correct this irritating behavior?
setup:
- MBP 14, macOS 12.3.1
- iPad Pro 11 (3g), iOS 15.4.1 (connect via USB or WiFi)
