While I saw many tutorials about how to access your MacBook Pro from iPad/iPhone via SSH, I wonder if it is possible to do the opposite, namely to access the content of the iPad/iPhone via SSH from MacBook Pro?

    No. You could access some part using some small http server on iOS but limited to server app sandbox. You can see a little more using .. in path names. If you really want to see full device contents you need to jailbreak.
