one of the benefits of using Apple native logging framework (NSLog or os_log) is the synchronization between multiple processes generating log messages to the same console -

It's achieved by managing process that serialize the logs from many sources and writes them to the disk.

I wonder if there's any way to add this mechanism the ability to route the messages to a separate log file that will be dedicated to my application only (and it's helper processes) - when reaching some predefined threshold, it should be rotated and start writing to new inode, while the original file moved to different name (i.e. myapp.log moved to myapp_1.log)
