I don’t know why a have this virus. Recently I was trying update my MacBook Air to BigSur, but 3 hours later this MessageBox appear to me, I was trying to find solution on Google but I didn’t find it. I trying to install several Antivirus but literally I can’t, perhaps is the virus that don’t allow me do that. At this time I turn off the wifi. Someone knows where can I find that file? What can I do?

    If you click the "Show in Finder" button, what does it show? – Gordon Davisson Feb 23 at 5:38
  • You could also just try a spotlight or finder search. If you enable show hidden files (cmd + shift + .) you could also manually search for something related to that file. If this turns out to be harmful I would - apart from changing all passwords and such - wipe the SSD and clean install macOS. – X_841 Feb 23 at 7:53

  • How far did you get with installing BigSur when the message popped up? Can you click "show in finder" and add a screenshot showing the path of the file in question? – nohillside♦ Feb 23 at 16:34
  • Click Show Finder in and delete if the files. If that does not work, you can follow this and use EtreCheck app. It worked for me. – Hawon Nguyen 2 days ago
