For reference: MAC - Mac Address

I am trying to spoof my MAC ethernet connection. I use a node.js package called spoof, so I can easily spoof the MAC of my wireless connection, which is on device en0 like usual, but if i try to run
sudo spoof randomize en6
I get an error, just like if I used a ifconfig command directly. The error is:
ifconfig: ioctl (SIOCAIFADDR): Operation not supported on socket
I'm not sure how to solve this - my specs are M1 Macbook air, MacOS 11.2.
