I had headphones before and its microphone was working, but it got broken and I had to change. The new headphones microphone is not working on my Mac even tho it works on a windows computer and on my android device, any help?
Also, I've done a lot of searching but nothing worked
I tried going to system preferences => audio => input and make sure that headphones are selected as input and used Jack port as an input source as shown in the screenshot below
I use https://online-voice-recorder.com/ and Siri to test my headphone microphone
