Recently, lesspipe (installed through brew) stopped colorizing output. I'm not sure what changed to make it so, as the problem seems to be with the output of file, and both file and lesspipe.sh were recently updated. The current output is like this:
InFlightRequests.java: Java source, ASCII text
/usr/local/bin/lesspipe.sh: Bourne-Again shell script text executable, ASCII text, with very long lines
That ASCII text matches against *text*, which means only markdown and log files will get colorized. For lesspipe.sh itself, it matches against * script which prevents colorizing altogether.
Does anyone knows where the breaking change came from? Does anyone knows how to fix it?
