I found an iPad that hasn't been turned on for 5 years. I left it to charge it for a day because it wouldn't turn on. iTunes detects it only in DFU mode but the recovery fails with error 4005. Any ideas?

  • Have you tried these steps? The 4005 error is usually caused by a faulty USB cable, can you try a different one on a different port? – Lulucmy Nov 1 '20 at 9:50
