I am in my Macintosh HD hard drive and I have two applications folders. I want to make changes to the "Applications1" folder Once I am in 'Applications1' folder I do not get the option of move to trash and some apps like iTunes and VLC are not accessible. The message I get is in that the version of the apps is not compatible. Even the App Store has the same issue. I Have the latest macOS Catalina 10.15.5 I have two application folders. I cannot make the desired changes to 'Applications 1' folder like delete an application or access apps. I face the following scenarios.

  1. Once I am in 'Applications1' folder I do not get the option of move to trash and some apps like iTunes and VLC are not accessible.
  2. The message I get is that the version of the apps is not compatible. Even the App Store has the same issue. I Have the latest macOS Catalina 10.15.5
  • Could you do me a favor and right click on the "Applications 1" folder, click Get Info and then take a screenshot of the Get Info window? I want to see if we can track down what created the folder in the first place. That might give us a better idea of where to look. – Cabana0309 Jun 30 at 14:07
