I have an iPad Pro 10.5 inch with an advertised resolution of "2224 × 1668 px". However, when I do a screen recording using Quicktime Player of the iPad, I get a much lower resolution. How do I get at least a 1080p resolution?

Try going into Settings → Camera → Record Video. On my iPad, I have the option of choosing 720p or 1080p. It was defaulted to 720p

  • It's not the camera settings that I want to change. I need to get the quicktime ipad screen recording to be 1080p. – sathishvj Mar 5 at 11:14
  • That’s the only setting for any sort of video recording. Did you try it? – Allan Mar 5 at 11:16
