I have crontab schedule which runs, however it doesn't have my normally available terminal commands. I guess it doesn't have the correct $PATH, user or something like that?

The crontab:

51 16 * * * cd /Users/a folder && apify run >> /Users/a folder/crontabLog.log 2>&1

The log shows: "/bin/sh: apify: command not found". Same for basically anything i normally have installed.

How do i either change the shell crontab uses to my usual one, or install what i need in whichever user that crontab uses?

  • In which directory is apify installed? – nohillside Oct 31 '19 at 8:26
