I have two mail accounts. A shared customerservice@... and an own myname@.... To have a better overview about what I have read already, I get all incoming mails in customerservice@ forwarded to myname@.

Now, when I read one of those mails in myname@ account, Apple Mail marks the same mail also as read in customerservice@ :(

I already tried to change To and X-Original-To headers. No success.

I can imagine that it is an issue that Apple Mail identifies mails with the Message-ID header which is bad because forwarding an email does not change the Message-ID set by the original sending mailserver.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix that? It's terrible, when I read an email before customerservice does and they think that it's already taken care of!

Thanks in advance for any help.

P.S. It would be nice to still keep the customerservice@ account in Apple Mail to be able to send mails via that account and see the progress of customerservice. Deleting customerservice@ from the mail app does fix the problem, but it is not what I would like to do.
