So I am aware that according to the official documentation on Apple's website, the 2008 iMac does not support Target Display Mode which enables it to be a used as a monitor for another Mac. I have been using this iMac the past couple days and have grown quite fond of its display, but not it's performance. I have don't my research and see, that some people have been able to bypass this disability of the lack of Target Display Mode by running through CAT5/Ethernet or a FireWire cable? does anyone here know how to do this because it would be super awesome to be able to do so!
