I don't know what I did or how to delete all the partitions to restore one disk. I don't want to see on diskutil all these disks.

What do I need to write in the terminal to delete everything?

iMac 27 late 2017.

you can see in the picture how many disks

  • Are you booted to Recovery? If yes, reboot normally & check again. The OS mounts many small partitions in Recovery that aren't really there on the disk; they show as mounted images, which is what we can see there. – Tetsujin Jun 15 at 9:33
  • I did it but I can't merge the two partitions into one drive like i had before.. i have one partiotion with 27.55GB PCI EXPRESS and one 999.86GB SATA and i want them to be one drive... – Or itzchaki Jun 15 at 9:40
  • I think you’re fine if you ignore every synthesized and disk image entry. The top two (internal) show your problem / focus. To reiterate your question comments - you’ll blow away both disk0 and disk1 - erase them - no data will be recoverable and make a fusion drive from both? – bmike Jun 15 at 13:13
