I don't want to enable iCloud Music Library on my iTunes library for a few reasons.

  1. I have carefully curated a fairly large library and I don't want it to get mingled with stuff from Apple Music. I've heard enough horror stories that make me want to avoid this.
  2. I live in a rural area with a very slow internet connection. Uploading my music library would cripple my internet connection for days.
  3. I want to be in charge of the music that gets synced to my iPhone.

However, I would like to create Apple Music playlists. So I'm wondering if I can create a second iTunes library and enable iCloud Music Library on that one without enabling it on my main library. (I know I can just try it, but I'm really afraid of screwing up my library.)
