I am not on iCloud, I don't store contacts in the cloud after a disastrous incident about 7 years ago. And a few months ago decades old contacts appeared on my iPhone, hundreds of them. Where are they coming from and how can I stop this from happening?

  • Welcome to Ask Different. :) Unfortunately, we're going to need more clarity to try and help you. Reading how to ask a question may improve your chances of getting a good answer. Can you please edit your question (there's an edit link below it) to let us know: (1) What else (if anything) happened when these old contacts reappeared (e.g. new phone, iOS update, installed an app, etc)? (2) What other Apple devices, if any, do you own? (3) When you say I am not on iCloud, do you mean not at all on any device, not on your iPhone, or..? – Monomeeth Apr 1 at 3:50
  • (4) What online apps and/or apps that also contain Contacts are you using (e.g. Facebook, WhatsApp, Dropbox, Viber, Skype, etc)? (5) What model of iPhone and version of iOS are you using? – Monomeeth Apr 1 at 3:50
