I have a MacBook Pro 2015, two days ago after I tried to dual-boot with Ubuntu I lost my access to my 'Macintosh HD' partition. Most especially I had a FFFFFFFF-FFFF-FFFF-FFFF-FFFFFFFFFFFF partition, as such I followed the procedure given in this link: How to fix broken GPT, GUID and unmountable, no type volumes?

But once I execute "sudo fdisk -i -a hfs /dev/disk0" when I execute I obtain:

gpt create: /dev/disk0: error: no room for the backup header

I'm stuck, could anyone help me ?

Thanks in advance.

This is my first time on such a website. Should I post a copy of my terminal for a better visualisation of the issue ? – MondayProgrammer Mar 16 at 21:34
  • Sorry for my tardiness @David Anderson. To answer you I use Mojave. – MondayProgrammer Mar 17 at 2:31
  • I had yet to create an account when I posted this question. The following link <apple.stackexchange.com/questions/354076/…> leads to the same question but posted now that I'm registred and is much more detailed. – MondayProgrammer Mar 17 at 2:34
