This question already has an answer here:

I was trying to merge different folders with the same name. There are 8 folders. I can correctly merge 5 of them, but at a certain point I don't have the "merge" option anymore, I only have the option to cancel the operation or replace the folder. Obviously, as before, the folders are different, so I would like just to add the different parts in one folder, and not replace it. Why is it that sometimes I don't have the merge option? I really can't understand and I would need it.

Does it have to do with permissions? What I do is click above the folder and click on "read and write", and then "apply to included elements". I should have the necessary permission to do it in a proper way, no?

Thanks in advance
