I dropped my iPhone 8 on a rubber floor and there is absolutely no external damage, no scratches, no cracks and no dents. However, the screen has gone black with the backlight still on. The home button still works as well as the mute switch with haptic feedback. It also makes the normal charging sound when plugging it in. The iPhone had no previous repairs.

I know it's a drop after all but it seems weird that the screen would go black when there are no visible cracks, scratches or dents. Any idea what could be damaged?
