external Display: LG27UD58/b: 4K-60hz@DisplayPort, 4k-30hz@DisplayPort, FullHD-60hz@HDMI port

I try to get 1920x1080 running on my lg monitor. I installed SwitchResX and got a lot of options but its not possible to get a clear full hd resolution at 60hz.

The MBP is connected via HDMI over an usb-c hub which should do 1080p with 60hz!

1080p30 (NTSC), not scaled, HiDPi active - everything looks clean but with 30hz working is no fun.

1080p60 (NTSC), not scaled, HiDPi not active - getting 1080p but everything looks blurred. working is no fun too.

What I want to get is 1080p with 60hz and not blurred.

I have a desktop pc too. The desktop pc is using the only display port interface of the external display. My desktop pc is for gaming and it works very well with 4k@60 hz.

What I want to do: Connect the desktop with 4k@60hz over display port and connect the MacBook Pro with 1080p@60hz over the HDMI cable. I want to buy an USB switch and the input of the external display can be set over the external display himself.

To get 4k@60hz only DisplayPort is possible. My usb-c hub can handle 1080p@60hz or 4k@30hz. If I would use another usb hub or a direct cable from usb-c to display port, 4k@60hz should work with my mbp, but I did not try, cause I have no cable atm.

But I am wondering, why just even the "old" 1080p just does not work fine? It should. All components should.
