Videos in a folder - open one with space bar - stretch it to a bigger size (almost full screen) - use arrows to scroll other videos - every video is that same bigger size. No problem.

Pictures and .gif files in a folder - open one with space bar (Quick Look) - stretch it to a bigger size (almost full screen) - use arrows to scroll other items - every one is original size - too small.

Full screen mode will work for one item only - but not the next - even in slideshow mode. In full screen/slideshow the first pic is full screen - and the rest are original size (too small).

This was not a problem in the previous OS. Current OS is Mojave - I was previously using High Sierra.

I can't be the only person annoyed by this. Quick Look and slideshow used to present every item - pics and .gif files - full screen - or whatever size I'd set - and now they won't. That's not progress. That's going backwards.

How can I change this? Is there an app for this?

Firstly, welcome to Ask Different! :) Since you finish your post with This was not a problem in the previous OS, it'd be great if you could edit your question (there's an 'edit' link below it) to include the version of macOS you're running, and which version was your previous version. – Monomeeth Dec 9 '18 at 23:48
