macOS has:

  • System Preferences → Sound → Play user interface sound effects

I expected to find an analogous setting in iOS, but I only see:

  • Settings → Sounds & Haptics → Keyboard Clicks
  • Settings → Sounds & Haptics → Lock Sound

What controls all the other sound effects?

Examples of other sound effects:

  • Authorize an App Store purchase.
  • Capture a screenshot.
  • Connect a power source.
  • Take a photo.
  • Which other sound effects? – nohillside Nov 14 '18 at 17:22
  • If iPhone: Have you tried using the “silent button”? (It’s the one above the volume buttons) – Harcker Nov 14 '18 at 17:41
  • Yes, that resulted in collateral damage. – ændrük Nov 14 '18 at 17:44
