I run programs that generate a lot of output. In Terminal.app, if I typed clear twice, it would enter a terminal's height of white space in the scroll back output. This makes it easier look through my scroll back history.

When I do this in iTerm2, it does not insert this white space.

QUESTION : how do I get iTerm2 to insert whitespace in terminal like Terminal.app does?
