I have an application, and it's listed in installed applications and when checking for upgrade. I don't want brew bask to handle this application. Is there a way to unlink it from brew without uninstalling and then reinstalling again manually?
As far as I know ,brew cask doesn‘t support of link unlink pin unpin such practical command exist in brew. And it seems that they don’t want to add these features. see Link/unlink support Feature request: Ability to pin a cask so that it doesn't upgrade
But I found a manual method, just delete the folder you want to unlink in
/usr/local/Caskroom/youappname,the app will disappeared in
brew cask list
Applicable only to programs installed to the Applications folder.
