The local time is 6:36 P.M., and I just realised in the Photo App status line in macOS it shows:

enter image description here

I don't understand why it stops syncing with iCloud for so long. Then I notice in Finder's iCloud status, it shows:

enter image description here

Why suddenly iCloud want to upload 6 GB to Apple's servers? I have restarted my MacBook Pro but the problem persists.

  • Have you checked the size of your photo library – is it 6.38? Perhaps you recently disabled then re-enabled iCloud for iPhoto? Doing so could cause it to want to re-upload. – geoidesic Oct 4 '18 at 11:48
