When turning on the Low Battery Mode, some apps stop working in background. But, somehow they are still using the internet and I receive notifications from specific apps (which I am sure they need internet to display those notifications).

Is there a way to disable the internet for all the apps, except the one in use (the active application on the screen)?

This would be useful to save bandwidth when using my portable router and prioritize the internet usage for the active app when the GSM signal from the tower is bad.

How can I do that? Why some apps still make background requests to the server while background usage is disabled?
