The SSD part of my Mac Mini fusion drive is failing.

I would like to know it there is a way to force all the data to move to the HD, shrink the virtual volume and then split the drive while leaving the SDD unused.

This is my setup

I would like to

  • Move all the data in disk2 (Macintosh HD) so that it is stored only on the magnetic disk (disk1s2)
  • Shrink the virtual disk2 to fit on disk1
  • Remove disk0s2 from the virtual disk2

I managed to do something similar in Linux with LVM but I am not really able to find detailed documentation on diskutil
