I have a Das Keyboard 4 Ultimate that I use with MacBook Pro from 2012. The other day my toddler son started pressing random keys on my keyboard and now the CMD key sends the following combination of keys:

The keys that show as being pressed when I press down on the CMD key

while the OPT key sends the following:

When I plug the keyboard into another Mac it works fine. However, I have checked all the accessibility settings, keyboard overrides, and everything else I can think of. I've tried resetting the modifier keys, switching to a different language to see if it works correctly, and resetting the SMC. All to no avail.

Does anyone have any advice on how to reset it back to normal?

I can't see how this would have happened unless a) the keyboard is programmable or b) you have a 3rd party utility that's remapping keys. To verify whether it's macOS or the keyboard, disconnect the external keyboard and try typing. Does the problem still exist? You can also try booting into Safe Mode (hold Shift while booting) – Allan Sep 13 '18 at 14:40
