When transferring two audio book files to an iPod Nano 3rd generation, and go into the Audiobooks menu item on the iPod, a flat list of 50 items are displayed, one for each track in the two books.

I was expecting to find two items, one for each book, and then the tracks as chapters in a submenu under each book.

Is it possible to mitigate this by changing some metadata, or is the iPod Nano 3rd generation simply not designed for audio books consisting of multiple files?

The media type for the files is set as "Audiobook". When changing this to "Music" in iTunes, the menu organisation is like expected. But this is a bit silly.
