Recently I sent an email to myself with multiple BCC recipients of whom two replied. With both people I started a separate email chain, although with the same subject line.

All emails are grouped together in one Mail Conversation, although only the first email I sent went to multiple recipients. All following emails I either received as the sole recipient or sent to a single recipient. I understand why Mail groups them together, but I think of these emails as two separate chains.

Is there any way to have the Mail app group these emails the way I group them mentally? I would like to have the Mail app group the emails in two Conversations (rather than one), based on recipient/sender. I don't particularly care where the first email is grouped (although I do not want to delete it).

I know how to turn of grouping by conversation altogether, but I prefer the slightly messy grouping in this case over no grouping at all.
