Default themes (or their master slides anyway) for Keynote have text elements where (except for a few exceptions where I think they must've messed up) if you enter text it will have its place and appear on the slide, but if you don't enter text, it wont put "Double-click to edit" in your slide, it just will be absent.

How can I add my own MULTI-LINE textbox to a master slide that behaves similarly where if you choose to enter content, it will be present, but it won't leave some default text visible in my presentation if I don't use that text box?
